About Yuval
Yuval Oren – an Israeli-German soprano.
Born in Haifa, Israel, Yuval is a current ensemble member of the Theater Nordhausen, Loh-Orchester Sondershausen.
Her operatic roles include Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Despina in Così fan tutte, Valencienne in Die lustige Witwe, Leïla in Les Pêcheurs de Perles, Frasquita in Camen, Amore in Orpheo ed Euridice, and more.
In 2022, Yuval took on a lead role in the opera “P. Puristic opera” at Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg. Additionally, she contributed to the world debut recording of Antal Doráti’s “Der Künder” with the Beethoven Academy Orchestra. Since 2022, she has been an ensemble member at Theater Nordhausen.”
In 2019, Yuval participated in the “Barock Vokal” academy, a Program of Excellence for Early Music in collaboration with Hochschule für Musik Mainz. Relocating to Germany, she expanded her repertoire and performed in venues such as Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg, Theater für Niedersachsen, Koblenz Guitar Festival, Dresdner Zwinger, various Jewish communities and more.
Oren graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where she trained under Mrs. Efrat Ben-Nun and Dr. Zvi Zemel. She has performed with various Israeli orchestras including the Haifa Symphony Orchestra and the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra.
Yuval has been acknowledged in music competitions, winning the Ada Brodsky Competition and reaching the semi-finals of the Antonio Pietro Cesti International Singing Competition for Baroque Opera. She also participated in the young artist program at the Innsbrucker Festwochen der alten Musik.
